Sirona Technologies and Wild Assets have entered into a major agreement for the purchase of permanent carbon removal credits generated by Sirona’s Direct Air Capture project.
The agreement ranks among the 10 largest DAC transactions concluded in 2025 and represents the largest agreement in Sirona’s history. The credits will be delivered from Sirona’s upcoming commercial plant as capacity scales over the coming years.
Wild Assets is a carbon removal asset management firm with a wealth of experience in the industry, spanning Nasdaq, UN, private carbon trading desks and CDR project development. Their decision to commit early and at a meaningful scale reflects a strong belief in the long-term value of durable carbon removal and in DAC as a critical component of future climate strategies.
Unlike short-term offsetting approaches, permanent carbon removal requires early market participants willing to support infrastructure before supply is abundant. This transaction reflects confidence that high-integrity DAC credits will play an increasingly important role as demand grows and quality standards rise
Sirona’s modular DAC systems are designed for rapid deployment and repeatable scaling. Manufactured in Belgium and deployed across multiple project sites, they enable predictable capacity expansion and consistent quality across plants.
Agreements of this scale help accelerate Sirona’s commercial roadmap, allowing the company to deploy more units, reduce costs through iteration, and expand durable carbon removal capacity faster.
“This agreement reflects an understanding of where carbon removal markets are heading. Long-term players like Wild Assets recognize that durable removal will become increasingly scarce and valuable, and that early participation is essential to building real capacity. This transaction marks an important milestone for Sirona as we scale our commercial operations.”
Wild Assets is a first-of-a-kind asset management firm focused on high-integrity climate instruments. The firm actively engages in emerging carbon removal markets and supports technologies with long-term potential to deliver durable climate impact.
Sirona Technologies develops and operates modular Direct Air Capture machines that permanently remove CO₂ from the atmosphere and store it through mineralization. Built in Belgium and deployed globally, Sirona delivers high-credibility carbon removal with transparent measurement, reporting, and verification. Following the commissioning of its first commercial units, Sirona is scaling capacity across multiple regions through the second half of the decade.
